So if there IS no God, why do I feel guilty, Alice?
Because I’m thinking of Maybe creating a REALLY WICKED caricature/cartoon/parody of Charlie – with his eyes so close if they were any closer he’d look like a cyclops? Whadaya think? (no hidden meaning of course) and Maybe MTG and Roger Dodger thrown in the mix?? – with THEIR little-beady-close-set-eyes – set in those simian brows on their pathetic chimpanzee-faces? – looking like they were all dropped from a ninety story building and landed face-first heads now looking like flattened flounders (if flounders could get any flatter) or MTG in a gender-bender drag show passing for Roger-the-Dodger with K-K-K Karoline emceeing – while putting her usual spin on her Orange-God’s-crime-and-corruption-over-the-top-cover-up – BINGO! – while every aspiring journalist from ABC, CBS, NBC and every other alliterationist out there’d be having a FIELD DAY WITH K-K-K-KAROLINE’S Kimmel, Comey, and-Kaitlyn-complaints and her Kirk, Kash, and-Kristi-compliments – NOT to mention her kinship to the KGB,THE-KLU-KLUX-KLAN AND KMART – Oh Sweet KaroLINE you and your kitschy crosses all inspired by some anti-vampire/Communist conspiracy theory all sponsored by that kick-in-the-derriere Cuban coffee Che-Che-Che – and Bella-Caio Bella-Caio Bella-Caio-Caio-Ciao – ALL OFFSET BY THAT ALL-AMERICAN PATRIOTIC SONG “SWEET KAROLINE GOOD TIMES NEVER SEEMED SO GOOD” and that one word THAT TIES IT ALL TOGETHER-WITH-A-RELIGIOUS-FERVOR THAT-SURPASSES-ALL-ELSE!!! –

So why should I feel guilty? They deserve it. Vance with his eyeliner and ****eating grin and enematic nose?? – and KENNEDY? WEEKEND AT BERNIE’S STAND IN looking like The Return of the Mummy with a voice to match and any minute now I expect those brain worms to start coming out! of his ears his nose HIS MOUTH even and maybe that’s why he can’t talk take a Tylenol Bobby and maybe you’ll get better or maybe it’ll kill those worms if it’s as poisonous as you say it is THESE PEOPLE BELONG IN P.T. And I’m feeling guilty? Because I’m judging him by his own standards? A man who has none?
And I’m ultimately talking about death because it’s the end of existence? Or the beginning of eternity? But if there is no God and I have no soul, why should I care?They all make fun of the very people they themselves are worse than! And THAT doesn’t deserve condemnation? Again WITH THE GUILT! Because if there is no God, whom AM I answerable to? – people like THEM? who will all be dead eventually anyway? and then none of this will truly matter?
Kirk, Kimmel – kill: they all start with the K-K-K sound K-K-K-Karoline and for one brief moment they all intersected: like the people on The Bridge of San Luis Rey before the bridge broke and five people were hurled into eternity later to be teleologically as well as theologically examined by Brother Juniper against the Church’s wishes as to why? Why did THEY have to die? And yet to get back to the question of guilt, they’re all united by that one inescapable name that ALSO starts with a K sound: Christ. Not as a swear word but SUPPOSEDLY the reason behind every thing Charlie said.

How many on the other side claimed the same allegiance?
Both sides using sarcasm, satire, jokes to mock the other side?
“Can’t take a joke?” THAT’S a joke. That’s the whole POINT of the joke in the first place – Trump in particular. That’s all we’re left with after he’s managed to prohibit every one else’s free speech (except his own). Of COURSE we want to destroy him! Because the joke IS ALL WE HAVE LEFT! The man is a complete fool and he gets away with it. He can mock, but we can’t? GO FOR IT JIMMY and all the rest of your kindred spirits, but let’s not delude ourselves about jokes being harmless. BECAUSE THAT’S THE WHOLE POINT! THEY’RE NOT! BUT THAT’S NOT THE ISSUE! FREE SPEECH IS THE ISSUE! For ALL of us, not just Trump and his lackies. Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini joked all the time about whomever they wanted to, but do you think it worked the other way around?
Now enter Trump stage right, an even bigger fool, with a lot less going for him expecting the same results and we’re not throwing rotten tomatoes at him? Come on America! Get real. This is your last chance. If you don’t get rid of the tyrant now, it’ll be too late. Ya had your chance two impeachments and two elections ago all culminating on January 6th with how many felonies and trials along the way – AND YET LIKE HUMAN EXCREMENT, HE ALWAYS RISES TO THE TOP!
Like the Epstein files? Each new day’s another outrage du jour to cover-up and DISTRACT – LIKE KIRK-KIMMEL-AND-COMEY! – because Camelot it’s NOT!! so you see why I can’t feel guilt in committing the very acts I question? LIKE REVENGE? OR VENGEANCE?… Or is it righteous indignation? Because if the latter, how do I pursue it without the use of the former?
Motive? Same action, different motive?
Okay, Vengeance is mine saith the Lord and yet: “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
That’s if you believe there’s a God. Bonhoeffer did and he died for it. Why? Because he not only spoke out against Hitler, but he acted on it.
And yet can you have a conscience without a God? Can you have one without the other?
THAT’S what I wrestle with.
But in the meantime, this one thing I DO know: if there’s any justice in the world, any shred of moral fiber left in America Joe McCarthy, yes “At long last last sir” rang out those famous words “HAVE YOU NO SENSE OF DECENCY” because it’s time for the world’s last bastion of freedom to step up and carry out what it set out to do 249 years ago on July 4th, 1776.
If not, we are indeed a ship of fools in a ship larger than the Titanic headed toward an iceberg larger than any global warming can ever set loose.
But guilt?
Trump has none and he’s the guiltiest man on the face of the planet in my opinion.
So why should I feel guilty? CERTAINLY NOT ABOUT HIM! No, it’s the collateral damage that bothers me. Like some of them really DO mean well. They really ARE sincere – like maybe dumb-dumb Margie? And Charlie? A mixed bag, but ROGER? No way! But sincere or not, they’re ALL SINCERELY wrong!… at least when it comes to Trump. (in my opinion).
But you see, now we’re back to right and wrong. Guilt and God. And if there IS no God?….why am I even concerned about doing the right thing IN THE FIRST PLACE BECAUSE WHY SHOULD THERE BE ANY PUNISHMENT IF THERE IS NO CRIME? BECAUSE ALL THINGS ARE THEN LAWFUL, RIGHT??
